Jalen Carter has made a decision about his participation at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week.

The Georgia defensive lineman, who is expected to be one of the first players off the board in the NFL Draft, will not workout at the combine, but will do interviews with teams and a physical. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the news, and added that Carter would work out at Georgia’s Pro Day on March 15.

Carter finished the 2022 season with 32 tackles, 3 sacks, 7 tackles for loss and 2 forced fumbles despite missing a pair of games for the 15-0 Bulldogs.

Carter suffered ankle and knee injuries last season, and he missed 2 games following a knee injury against Missouri. But Carter bounced back to earn consensus first-team All-American honors.
