The face of the Denver Broncos franchise is returning for another season.
Von Miller had his $7 million option picked up by the Broncos today as first reported by Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver.
The decision to retain Miller for another season comes after the star pass rusher was lost for the entire 2020 season due to a severe ankle injury.
Miller has played his entire 10-year NFL career in Denver and helped lead the team to a win in Super Bowl 50, which he was selected as the game MVP to cap the 2015 season.
For his career, Miller has 106 sacks in the NFL.
“I have totally bought into being a Coloradoan for life, let alone a Denver Bronco,” Miller posted on Instagram. “I want to be here forever through the thick, the thin, the Super Bowl seasons, the losing seasons. I want to be here forever.”
