Johnny Manziel hasn’t given up on the NFL, but if it doesn’t work, he could be coming back to college football – as a coach.

Manziel talked with radio host Clay Travis at the International Football Betting Conference in Costa Rica on Saturday and talked about what he’ll try to do if he doesn’t get another NFL opportunity in the future.

“I’d do something involved with sports. I can’t get away from it,” Manziel said. “I’ve had to ask myself that a little bit as of late over the past year, but at the same time I’d want to be involved in sports in some way, whether it’s coaching, whether it’s doing something like that. So I think that’d be my route.”

When Travis asked about coaching at what level, Manziel said it would be college.

He has also yet to close the door on the Canadian Football League or even giving baseball another try, a la Tim Tebow. One thing’s for sure, Manziel is determined to stay in sports.
