Many transfers arrive on campus with a level of hype but fail to deliver on the promise of what they could become.

Obviously, Landon Dickerson did not fall into that category.

The All-American offensive lineman from Alabama anchored the nation’s best offensive line — they just won the Joe Moore Award — that led the way for Mac Jones, Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle and the rest of the Crimson Tide playmakers to have arguably the best offense in the history of college football last fall.

Unfortunately, Dickerson missed the semifinal game against Notre Dame and most of the championship game against Ohio State after suffering a significant injury in the closing moments of the 2020 SEC Championship against Florida.

Dickerson did manage to return to the field for the final snap of Alabama’s title game win and in a recent appearance on Good Morning Football on NFL Network, he discussed that moment, his rehab process and all the NFL draft hopeful teammates he had at Alabama this season.
