A key member of the Missouri offensive front will not return for the 2021 season.

Redshirt junior offensive lineman Larry Borom announced on his Twitter account on Sunday that he would not use his final year of eligibility and instead prepare for the NFL Draft.

“To my teammates, it’s been nothing but laughter and bonds being built for the past 4 years,” he wrote. “You all are my brothers and I’ll never forget this team.”

An 11-game starter in 2019, Borom played at both the tackle and guard positions. This season, he was part of an offensive line that helped Larry Rountree III run for 972 yards and a career-best 14 touchdowns while allowing just 12 sacks of starting quarterback Connor Bazelak.

Borom will not play in the Tigers in their Music City Bowl appearance on Dec. 30 against Iowa. Mizzou is 5-5 under 1st-year head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
