This year’s LSU Football Coaches Clinic will have a couple familiar names as guest speakers.

NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre and former LSU All-America Marcus Spears will be attending the clinic, which takes place March 31 to April 2 on the LSU campus.

The conclusion of the clinic will be on the same day that the LSU football scrimmage will be held in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, April 2. The cost of the clinic is $65, and interested coaches can register online at www.LSUcamp.com or by calling the LSU Football Office at 225-578-1151.

Spears, a member of LSU’s 2003 national championship team and first-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys, will speak on Thursday night at the Maravich Center. He’ll be followed by new defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, who will give a presentation afterwards.

Favre, a three-time MVP and winner of Super Bowl XXXI, will speak at 11:15 a.m. the following day on the main floor at the Maravich Center.
