Kyle Pitts teases Justin Fields, says former 5-star QB was supposed to go to Florida

Everything worked out incredibly well for Kyle Pitts and Justin Fields in college as the two superstar athletes are now in the NFL after being selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but could you imagine the two being on the same college team?
That could have happened as Fields was courted heavily by Dan Mullen after the former Mississippi State coach took over at Florida but the five-star quarterback ultimately signed with Kirby Smart’s Georgia program.
While it may be a bit of revisionist history, Pitts recently joked about the fact that Fields was supposed to join him in Gainesville.
Why didn’t it happen?
Pitts joked that Fields was too “scared” to make that decision.
