NFL Network analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks are high on a couple of SEC prospects entering the 2023 NFL Draft.
During a segment asking the popular analysts to pick potential draft “unicorns,” Jeremiah chose CB Emmanuel Forbes from Mississippi State and Brooks chose LB Drew Sanders from Arkansas.
Both Forbes and Sanders have been getting late-Round 1 and early-Round 2 buzz, and the NFL Network analysts think whichever teams draft the SEC standouts will be very happy with their selections:

“He’s got 6 pick-6s in his career and he’s an absolute playmaker,” Jeremiah said of Forbes. “But I can honestly tell you I’ve never given this high of a grade to a 166-pound corner, so that makes him a true unicorn. He is all arms and legs. He got his weight up, I think he was 170 at the Pro Day, so that’s trending in the right direction. But I don’t even care. He’s such a good player, I just put the big grade on him and moved on.”
“It’s rare that you find a middle linebacker who has legitimate high-end pass-rush skills,” Brooks said of Sanders. “(He had) 9.5 sacks, did it in his first season at Arkansas. I haven’t really seen a player do that kind of stuff since I watched Lawrence Timmons coming into the league from Florida State.”
Where will Forbes and Sanders end up? Tune into the NFL Draft on Thursday, April 27, to find out if they end up being picked in Round 1!
