Will Hastings has been given another shot at making his NFL dreams a reality in New England.

Just days after being released from the team (on July 26, to be exact), the Patriots announced on Thursday that the rookie receiver from Auburn has been resigned by the team.

The Patriots’ decision to resign Hastings comes after linebacker Dont’a Hightower, running back Brandon Bolden, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon and fullback Danny Vitale all decided to skip the upcoming NFL season due to COVID-19.

During his time on The Plains, 56 passes for 845 yards and six touchdowns. Following the end of his college playing career, Hastings went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft.
