C.J. Mosley’s signing in New York has failed to materialize any memorable moments on the field for the Jets and now it looks like that may never happen.

After opting out of the 2020 NFL season, the four-time Pro Bowl linebacker is being shopped by the Jets according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

This comes after Mosley only managed to appear in two games during the 2019 season after suffering a groin injury. Mosley has $22 million in guarantees remaining on his contract.

During his five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Mosley missed just three games and started in all 77 of his appearances for the club. He has racked up 588 tackles, 10 interceptions, 8.5 sacks and six forced fumbles during his NFL career.

Mosley was selected with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
