NFL players approve new CBA, which adds extra playoff teams and additional regular season game

The big news in the NFL these days has been a potential new Collective Bargaining Agreement, which would add an extra regular-season game and 2 extra playoff teams.

It has been hotly contested among owners and players alike, but now it appears that a vote has been held and a resolution finalized.

Per the NFL Players’ Association, the new CBA was ratified by a narrow 1,019-959 vote:

The additional playoff teams will be added this fall, with the extra regular season game coming in 2021. We’ll see how it all plays out and what players think of the new agreement.
