After suffering through much of the Cincinnati Bengals’ 2019 season, former Alabama offensive lineman Andre Smith is getting a taste of the playoffs.

Smith has been signed by Baltimore ahead of the Ravens’ playoff game against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. For Baltimore, Smith replaces G Parker Ehinger (placed on IR) and provides some depth.

The former first-round draft pick (2009) has spent most of his professional career in Cincinnati, playing for the Bengals from 2009-15 before heading to Minnesota in 2016. He played in only four games for the Vikings before returning to the Bengals again in 2017. In 2018, Smith played eight games for the Arizona Cardinals before returning to Cincinnati for another stint with the Bengals. This past season, Smith played in six games for Cincinnati, including five starts, before he was released in November.
