Nicholls ended the LSU game with a dagger of a three pointer with 1 second left on the clock.

LSU had to fight its way back into the game after going into halftime down 44-25. LSU brought it all the way back just to lose on a last second three-pointer.

Nicholls’ Jamal West Jr. drew the attention of a couple of LSU players and dumped the ball off the Jalen White who nailed the shot to put the Colonels up by 2.

The Tigers tried to answer back with a play to Will Baker, but it didn’t go in.

LSU now moves in to 1-1 on the season through 2 games after the tough loss at home. The Tigers opened the year by beating Mississippi Valley State 106-60.

The good thing about this loss is that it’s early into the year and there are plenty of games during the season for LSU to redeem itself.

LSU faces Dayton next on Nov. 16.
