A trip to California was one heck of a birthday present for Nick Chubb.
The star RB for Georgia is wrapping up a remarkable college career. He is No. 2 on the Bulldogs all-time rushing list behind Bulldogs legend Herschel Walker, and Chubb and the Dawgs are in Pasadena preparing for a Rose Bowl matchup against Oklahoma.
Chubb and the Georgia offense will be key as the Bulldogs will likely try to control time of possession by effectively running the ball.
While the team is preparing for the big game, Chubb also celebrated his birthday Wednesday. He took to Twitter and said there’s no other place he’d rather be than with his teammates in Pasadena. Chubb also took time to thank fans for all the birthday wishes:
?There’s no other place I’d rather spend my bday than in Pasadena with my teammates preparing for one of the biggest games on our lives. Thank you for all the bday wishes, this year has truly been special ?

An even better late birthday gift for Chubb would be a win over the Sooners and a national championship ring. Georgia’s season continues in the Rose Bowl with kickoff set for 5 pm EST New Year’s Day on ESPN.
