Nick Chubb entered Friday’s Liberty Bowl with 3,282 career rushing yards, and it didn’t take him long to add four more to that total and pass his former teammate Todd Gurley as the Bulldogs’ No. 2 all-time rusher.

Chubb moved up to No. 2 during the first quarter against TCU. He now has 3,286 career rushing yards. Chubb excited Bulldogs fans recently with the news that he’ll be returning for his senior season.

Chubb would need a highly productive final season in Athens to catch Georgia’s all-time leading rusher Herschel Walker, who ran for 5,259 yards in his storied UGA career. That might be less likely with teammate Sony Michel also returning for 2017.
