Alabama coach Nick Saban has a lot of money to spend these days, as he has the biggest contract of any college football coach.
He’s reportedly decided to use some of that money to become part-owner of the Waterfall Club, a golf course in northern Georgia.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Saban joins a group of other new owners, including Los Angeles Chargers OC Ken Whisenhunt:
Nick Saban, head football coach of the University of Alabama, is now one of several owners of the Waterfall Club, a 400-acre golf community nestled high above the lake with amazing mountain views.
He’s one of five new owners, joining Ken Whisenhunt, offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers; Marlan Wilbanks, senior partner of law firm Wilbanks/Gouinlock LLP; Lenny Lemoine, president and CEO of The Lemoine Co.; and Mike Nixon, partner of Hawks Ridge Golf Club.
Saban will probably have a bit more time to golf this offseason since a ton of high school recruits signed during the early signing period in December.
Either way, he at least has a place to go if he wants to hit the links in the coming months.
