There was good news on the practice participation front for Alabama on Thursday. Freshman defensive lineman Antonio Alfano was back in action.

“Antonio Alfano was back at practice today,” Saban told reporters after Thursday’s practice. “He had a couple of days for personal reasons.”

Alfano had missed the last three days of practice, according to reports.

The Colonia (New Jersey) product was rated 5-stars in the class of 2019. He had 25 scholarship offers and signed with Alabama during December’s early signing period. Alfano enrolled at UA in January 2019. Earlier this month during fall camp, Alfano was reportedly working with the second-team defensive line.
