Nick Saban broke down Alabama’s play of the game following a big win over LSU on Saturday.
For Saban, the play of the game was an interception in the 3rd quarter.
After the Tide scored a touchdown late in the 3rd to take a 35-28 lead, LSU was looking to answer back. Alabama quickly shut down LSU’s attempt, intercepting Jayden Daniels’ pass. A few plays later, Alabama scored to take a 2-touchdown lead.

“We just talked about this being the turning point in the game, but it’s also a really important part of the game,” Saban said.
Alabama brought the blitz to put pressure on Daniels, and a tipped pass from the Alabama’s defensive line led to the interception from Terrion Arnold.
“We break on the ball and 3 gets the pick and we punch it in 2 plays later,” Saban said. “That was big.”
After the interception and score, Alabama managed to keep LSU off the board and come out of the game with a big win.
