Nick Saban and No. 6 Alabama will look to cash in on a victory at No. 10 LSU if they wnat to advance to the SEC title game. The teams are joined by No. 11 Ole Miss in a 3-way tie in the West division.

The Tigers went on a 4-game winning streak after losing their season opener against the Seminoles, but saw that run snapped in resounding fashion by Tennessee in a 40-13 rout. They’ve won back-to-back games since then, by a 21-17 score at Auburn and in come-from-behind fashion against Ole Miss, 45-20, before the open week.

During his weekly radio show on Thursday night, Alabama coach Nick Saban attributed LSU’s rise to the Tigers becoming more comfortable with new coach Brian Kelly.

“I think that’s why LSU’s team has improved dramatically from the beginning of the season to now is because you can see his philosophy taking hold,” Saban said.

Alabama-LSU will be under the primetime lights, with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday (ESPN).
