Alabama tackle Jonah Williams left Saturday’s win over Louisiana-Lafayette with a sprained ankle. However, it doesn’t appear to be too serious.

On Monday, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban told the media at his press conference that although Williams didn’t practice, he expects the tackle to be back on the field by Wednesday. That would certainly make it seem probable that Williams will play on Saturday against Arkansas.

Saban said the rest of the team came out of this week’s win in good shape.

“Everybody else, I think, is OK,” Saban told the media. “Some guys we don’t always practice on Monday if they have issues, but we don’t have any significant issues from that standpoint.”

Saban also updated the status of linebacker Terrell Lewis, who tore his ACL in July, although he didn’t have a timetable for Lewis’ return.

“Terrell is making really good progress in his rehab and what he is able to do,” Saban said. “I’m not a doctor, so it’s a medical decision as to when he can start running and doing drills, when he can practice and when he can play.”
