Nick Saban insists he’s the worst picker in College GameDay history: ‘Miss Terry just completely kicks my ass’

Nick Saban may very well be the greatest college football head coach of all time. He’s also done a good job as a host of College GameDay each week, keeping him around the game of football.
But Saban, by his own admission, isn’t the greatest College GameDay picker the world has ever seen. Back when Miss Terry was GameDay’s guest, Saban’s wife actually beat him in the weekly picks segment. She finished 7-2 while Saban finished 5-4.
Saban recalled that fact on Monday in front of reporters, insisting that he may be the “worst picker in the history of ball.” He continued by saying “Miss Terry just completely kicks my ass on GameDay in front of the whole world.”

Saban went 1-3 in SEC matchups this past week, missing on his picks for Alabama, Texas and Arkansas. He correctly picked South Carolina to beat Oklahoma, and we’ll give him a pass for picking Alabama for obvious reasons.
This coming weekend should be a good one. We have 5 ranked matchups on the docket: Alabama vs. Mizzou, Illinois vs. Oregon, Vanderbilt vs. Texas, Texas A&M vs. LSU and Notre Dame vs. Navy. That’ll give Saban plenty of chances to redeem himself for his past picks.
