Nick Saban and Alabama have a tough test coming up against Kentucky’s offense.
The Wildcats feature a solid quarterback in Devin Leary and a handful of tough skill players like wide receiver Barion Brown and running back Ray Davis.
Ahead of the matchup with Kentucky, Saban had high praise for the duo of Leary and Brown.
“I think they’re really good players, I think they’ve played well all year long,” Saban said. “They’ve got a very diverse group. Barion Brown’s obviously a really good player, he’s a very fast guy, he’s a good returner as well. Devin Leary is tough, competitive, good passer. Does a great job of managing and doing what he needs to do to make their offense work, run and pass. The guy’s a really smart player and has done a great job of executing everything I’ve seen all year long.”
Leary has had a solid season, racking up 1,905 yards and 18 touchdowns. Brown has also bene crucial for the Wildcats with 358 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Alabama is looking to keep up its momentum heading into the final few games of the season and try to make a late push for the CFP, and it can’t afford a slip ip against Kentucky. But the Wildcats are gunning for a big upset, and they’re looking to take down the Tide at Kroger Field.
The matchup kicks off at noon ET on Saturday.
