Pat McAfee has established himself as one of the most entertaining media personalities in the college football world, and on Thursday, Nick Saban showed his respect for McAfee.
While making an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Saban revealed a custom-made Alabama jersey with McAfee’s name and signature No. 1 that he wore as a punter for the Indianapolis Colts.

“We have a tremendous amount of respect for you,” Saban said. “This show has been great for us, so we’re going to send you this Alabama shirt with your number on it.”
And McAfee was overjoyed with the gift.
“I’m on Bama? I got recruited? Is that a scholarship to Bama?” McAfee asked.
While he might not get a place on Alabama’s team, the appreciation from Saban was probably worth just as much to McAfee.
Saban also expressed how much he enjoys going on the Pat McAfee Show.
“I enjoy this too because you all are all football people,” Saban said. “And you ask football related questions because you’ve all played, you’ve all been there, you’ve all done that, so I appreciate that, and it’s fun for me.”
