Nick Saban and Alabama have a challenge ahead against LSU.

The Tigers bring one of the best offenses in the country to the matchup, and they are looking for a signature win to try and get ahead in the SEC West title race.

Saban used the bye week to get his team re-focused after what has been a long season so far, and now he’s getting his team ready for the Tigers’ high-powered offense.

“We’re trying to get our guys back to technical execution,” Saban said during the SEC coaches teleconference. “Sometimes you have a bye week you’ve got to get re-focused. Obviously playing a great team in LSU. Great offensive team, lead the country, No. 1 team in the country offensively. Jayden Daniels is an outstanding quarterback, really good passer, really good runner with the ball, can extend plays. They’ve got great receivers. Aggressive on defense. Harold Perkins is really a disruptive, so this is going to be a great challenge for us but something that we embrace and kind of look forward to playing in these kind of games.”

After facing an early loss to Texas, Alabama has to be perfect the rest of the way if it wants to reach the College Football Playoff. Getting a win over LSU on Saturday would greatly improve the Tide’s chances of getting their, but they’ll need a big win.

LSU has been playing well since facing its second loss to Ole Miss, and the Tigers are gunning for a big win over Alabama.
