Alabama doesn’t have many questions looming entering the national championship game but the availability of Christian Miller is among the few that do exist. Based on what Nick Saban offered up on Saturday morning, it appears the Tide will be without the linebacker for the Clemson game.

During Saturday’s College Football Championship media availability, the first question Saban received was on the status of Miller for the Clemson game.

“Christian Miller is questionable to play in the game. He hasn’t been able to do a lot in practice, we’ll sorta see what he can do today, further evaluate his circumstance and see if he can be effective enough to contribute in the game,” Saban revealed.

The Alabama coach was then asked how his team will adjust if Miller can’t go in the game.

“It’s an opportunity for someone else. We’ve lost a significant amount of players at that position starting with Terrell Lewis, Chris Allen, now Christian Miller, which was a position we felt we had a significant amount of depth,” Saban responded. “This will create an opportunity for someone else who may not have the experience but we are confident they will be ready to play and do a good job for us.”
