Nick Saban releases statement about Jermaine Burton following post-game incident at Tennessee

Nick Saban has released a statement about a post-game incident following the Tennessee game where Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton allegedly struck a woman on the field.
“We are aware of the situation with Jermiane Burton as he was exiting the field Saturday. We are currently working to gather more information,” Saban said.
The alleged incident took place as Alabama’s players tried to get off the field while Tennessee fans were rushing the field following the 52-49 Vols win. Burton had 2 catches for 49 yards in the loss.
