Nick Saban shares what impresses him most about Tua Tagovailoa

There are a lot of reasons why Tua Tagovailoa is getting the opportunity to start at Alabama.
The sophomore quarterback has impressed in many ways, but there’s one reason for Tagovailoa’s success that fans may not have noticed.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban told ESPN’s Chris Low that one of the things he’s been most impressed with regarding Tagovailoa is the quarterback’s hands.
The accolades have flowed for @AlabamaFTBL QB Tua Tagovailoa, but one of the things Nick Saban has been most impressed with is Tagovailoa’s hands. “He has great hands, strong hands, and can throw it with touch as well as he can fit it into tight spaces and sees the entire field.”

Tagovailoa has passed for 646 yards and eight touchdowns during Alabama’s 3-0 start.
Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer backed up Saban’s praise of Tagovailoa’s hands with a stat on Twitter:

Tagovailoa will look to continue his impressive start to the season when No. 1 Alabama plays its toughest opponent yet, No. 22 Texas A&M, on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide and Aggies are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
