Nick Saban is a “Wagon Wheel” fan, we found out Saturday morning.
Saban is in Columbia, South Carolina with the rest of the College GameDay crew. South Carolina superfan Darius Rucker performed his megahit “Wagon Wheel” on Saturday’s show. Fans were amused to find Saban signing along.

Saban knows the song well. He shared that it was a hit with Alabama’s recruits.
“Every Saturday night we had a karaoke party at our house in recruiting, and the No. 1 requested song was ‘Wagon Wheel’!” Saban shared on GameDay.
One would hope that a program with Alabama’s championship pedigree would prefer the superior version of “Wagon Wheel” performed by Old Crow Medicine Show, but the coach didn’t go into details.
As for Rucker’s performance, more can be seen in the video captured by Awful Announcing:

After years of sideline outbursts, it’s fun to see the GOAT enjoying himself on GameDay.
