Alabama is starting fall camp mostly healthy. Coach Nick Saban was asked about the injury situation and only named three players who were limited or out in the first fall practice.

“We had two guys in black jerseys,” Saban said in his post-practice press conference. “Eyabi [Anoma] was in a black jersey because he hurt his jaw, but he’ll be full-go probably by the time we put on pads. He did everything. He just had a black jersey on. And Nigel Knott had a black jersey on. So, Terrell Lewis was the only guy that was really out of practice today.”

Earlier in the day, Lewis shared a heartfelt message on social media about his disappointment in being ruled out for fall camp.

Anoma, a defensive end, was the No. 4 overall recruit in the nation for the class of 2018 according to the 247Sports Composite ratings.
