Alabama is moving on after getting a close win over Texas A&M.
The Crimson Tide held on to win 27-19, but it was a much closer game than the Tide have experience for much of this season. Nevertheless, Alabama is now 6-0 and remains in the No. 1 spot of the AP Poll as they get set to play Arkansas at home.
The Crimson Tide are dealing with a couple of injuries, and Nick Saban updated the status of two DBs during his press conference Monday. Trevon Diggs is set to try and practice while Tony Brown remains day-to-day due to a knee injury.
Diggs has mostly been used for Alabama in the return game. He has seven punt returns for 75 yards and one kick return for 19 yards. Diggs has one tackle this season.
Brown has nine tackles, one tackle for loss, and a pass breakup this season. He does have two career interceptions and a forced fumble.
Charlie Potter shared Saban’s update on Twitter:
Saban on injuries: "Everybody will be fine."
He said Trevon Diggs (foot) will try to practice. Tony Brown (knee) is day-to-day.
