Nick Saban would join exclusive club with Tua Tagovailoa Heisman win

It’s an honor for any college football coach to coach a Heisman Trophy winner. Nick Saban has already had that honor twice with Mark Ingram (2009) and Derrick Henry (2015).
If Tua Tagovailoa becomes the third Heisman Trophy winner coached by Saban, it will put the Alabama head coach in an exclusive club. He would be one of only four coaches in the history of the award to have coached three winners of the prestigious award.
If the betting odds are an accurate predictor of what’s to come, Saban’s entry to the club will likely have to wait at least a year, but we will find out for sure soon. The Heisman Trophy ceremony airs at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
