One of Arkansas basketball’s highly-touted former 5-star freshmen will miss some time for the Razorbacks with SEC play just around the corner. Nick Smith, the former No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, is set to be out for an indefinite amount of time with a right knee issue.

Smith has missed the past few games for the Razorbacks, only recording 4 starts and 5 appearances in what is turning out to be a promising season for the Razorbacks.

Smith has been strong in the few games his has played this season, averaging over 12 points per game with just under 2 rebounds and assists per game.

Injury issues are starting to mount for the Razorbacks. Sophomore forward Trevon Brazile, who was starting to break out for Eric Musselman and crew, suffered a season-ending ACL tear suffered against UNC Greensboro.
