Though a College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Clemson would be expected to be a nail-biter, a potential matchup between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington would be the opposite.
After Tuesday night’s newest CFP rankings were released, Alabama was projected to be a two-score favorite over the Huskies:
Projected Playoff Spreads:
#1 Alabama -10.5 over #4 Washington
#2 Ohio State -1 over #3 Clemson— RJ Bell (@RJinVegas) November 30, 2016
Washington, of course, still needs to win the Pac-12 title game on Friday night in order to stay in the mix for the College Football Playoff.
Alabama needs to defeat No. 15 Florida in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday afternoon to keep its stranglehold on the No. 1 spot.
However, if the two teams do meet in the playoffs, it should be a fun game to watch.
