No Bryce Young, no problem? Jalen Milroe’s strong performance vs. Arkansas turned heads

Jalen Milroe saw Arkansas surging and took matters into his own hands. Alabama’s lead was suddenly just 5 after a large lead early and the Alabama offense was sputtering following yet another Arkansas touchdown.

Then came the scamper. The backup quarterback took it 77 yards to set up an Alabama score and the Crimson Tide never looked back. It’s almost as if the Tide took it personally.

No, he wasn’t perfect but he was more than enough to break the spirit of the Razorbacks with star quarterback Bryce Young ruled questionable in the first half.

It seems the Tide always have a backup that would be a starter on any other team ready to go should the unthinkable happen. Young looks to be fine, but the Tide were always going to be fine in a game like this under these circumstances. Milroe finished with 65 yards passing with 1 touchdown and 91 yards rushing with 1 touchdown.

Social media reacted to Milroe’s strong performance in a 49-26 win Saturday.
