Noah Thomas and Texas A&M fell in an early 21-0 hole against Auburn, but that deficit is now ancient history.

The Aggies scraped together a touchdown to make the deficit 21-7 at halftime, and the third quarter has been all about A&M. The very first drive of the game ended with a touchdown to Thomas, and it was an impressive effort between two defenders.

Marcel Reed threw it up and simply let Thomas go and get it above the defenders:

Thomas would not be done yet. A&M’s defense forced a quick 3-and-out to get the ball right back, and Thomas delivered an even bigger score on the very next play.

This time, Reed was able to just barely fit a throw between two defenders with Thomas running a quick slant. The pass made it through, and Auburn’s defense did not have anyone in position to chase down Thomas in the secondary.

The second touchdown went for 73 yards, erasing the deficit and bringing A&M all the way back to tie the game at 21-all:

A&M now has a chance to grab complete control of this game down the stretch after looking unprepared in the first half. The Aggies are also looking to avoid a disastrous third loss.

With the rest of the results around the SEC and across the country, the Aggies would be in a great spot entering the final week of the regular season with just two losses.
