One team will have a taste of SEC competition in back-to-back seasons in the near future.
Abilene Christian has scheduled Mississippi State in 2019 and Texas A&M in 2020. The Wildcats joined the Division I Southland Conference in the 2013 season and will be eligible to play in the FCS playoffs in the 2017 season.
Abilene Christian, based in Abilene, Texas, had competed in the Lone Star Conference since 1973 previously.
The game at Mississippi State will be played on Oct. 12, 2019 while the game at Texas A&M will be played on Nov. 21, 2020.
