Notre Dame is still working hard on the 2026 recruiting class and is in the mix for one of the top overall classes in the country. However, the Fighting Irish are already off to a strong start for 2027.
On Thursday, Notre Dame landed the commitment from Teddy Jarrard, a 4-star quarterback out of North Cobb High School in Georgia. A rising junior, Jarrard already held offers from a laundry list of top schools, including Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia, Clemson, Florida State, Miami and Michigan, along with many others.
Now, he joins Marcus Freeman and his staff for a hot start in the 2027 recruiting class:
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Jarrard is rated as the No. 14 QB nationally by the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also the 23rd overall player out of Georgia and the 162nd overall prospect in the country for the 2027 recruiting class.
Here’s a look at what Jarrard brings to the table via his Hudl highlights:
Already, Notre Dame is up to 3 hard commitments in the early work for the 2027 recruiting class, with Jarrard the current highest-ranked prospect from that trio. The class currently ranks 11th nationally per the team composite, but that is bound to change as we move through the process.
