Surprising walk-on players with scholarships has become one of the best trends in college football.
This Christmas, Notre Dame got in the holiday spirit, surprising 2 walk-ons with scholarships as part of their holiday festivities.
Mick Assaf and Colin Grunhard were the 2 lucky Notre Dame players who got special gifts from Santa this Christmas:

That was clearly a special moment for the players, who have worked hard during their Notre Dame careers thus far.
Notre Dame will take on Iowa State in Orlando at the Camping World Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 28. The game can be seen at noon Eastern time on ABC.
