The 2016 season has been a costly one for New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr.
The league announced on Friday that the former LSU star was fined $12,154 for “verbal abuse and using excessive profanity towards an official,” according to Pro Football Talk.
Impressively, Beckham has now been fined on five occasions this season, with four weeks left in the regular season (plus a potential playoff run).
Beckham has now been fined a total of $108,926 with his five separate incidents. He’s making a base salary of $2.8 million this season, so the fines don’t hurt his bank account that much, but it’s still an impressive amount for one person to rack up in a season.
