Odell Beckham Jr. does not appear to be in a rush to get back on the football field.

The former LSU wide receiver has been a free agent for the 2022 season. His free agency has felt a bit like recruiting lately with Beckham taking high-profile visits with the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.

Thursday, Beckham appeared on Amazon and shared that he’s most interested in playoff action. NFL playoffs start with Wild Card Weekend on Jan. 14.

“I haven’t made the decision,” Beckham said. “I would like to be in a stable environment. Get up 6 a.m., leave at 6 p.m. for four weeks and then let’s talk about it. I’ve played football for a long time. I’m not saying I couldn’t step in and play regular season, but I don’t see the point. I really don’t. I’d rather play when that pressure’s on.”

While Beckham is confident that he can return to the field without issue, his next team might prefer to see him shake any rust off in the regular season before inserting him into a playoff game.
