Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to make his free agent decision in a matter of weeks. The former LSU wide receiver hasn’t played since an ACL tear during Super Bowl LVI as a member of the Los Angeles Rams.
After breaking the 1,000-yard mark in 5 of his 1st 6 NFL seasons, Beckham doesn’t quite possess the star power he once enjoyed. But several NFL contenders are looking to bring him into the fold for a potential playoff and Super Bowl push.
According to CBS Sports NFL insider Josina Anderson, Beckham is set to play a visit to 3 teams in “early December”: the New York Giants, the Buffalo Bills, and the Dallas Cowboys — in that order. Per FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer, the visit with the Cowboys is set for Dec. 5.
Signing with the Giants would obviously mean a return to the team that drafted him 12th overall in 2014 and with whom he spent 5 seasons before being traded to the Cleveland Browns. Buffalo, specifically, stands out due to Beckham’s close relationship with defensive end Von Miller, who has repeatedly looked to reunite with his former Rams teammate in Western New York. Meanwhile, Jerry Jones has made it clear that Beckham is someone that he “admire[s] a lot”.
Along with those 3 teams, 2 others are on the radar: the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. Per Anderson, “conversations continue” between them and Beckham.
