Offensive tackle Ben Brown had good reason to commit to Ole Miss. That’s why his decision came just four days after being offered a scholarship by the school.

The three-star prospect comes from a long line of former Rebels, including his dad, uncle and both of his grandfathers.

One can only figure that’s why Brown, who was offered on Friday, committed on Tuesday via Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 290-pounder also had offers from SEC schools in Missouri and Vanderbilt. However, the Vicksburg, Miss., native made his pledge to become the third Ole Miss commitment for 2017, joining four-star WR D.D. Bowie and three-star DE Markel Winters.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Brown is rated as the No. 18 player in the state of Mississippi and the No. 85 offensive tackle in the nation.
