It’s official: Former Georgia QB Jacob Eason transfers to Washington

When Georgia QB Jacob Eason went down with a leg injury in Week 1, freshman Jake Fromm took over and led the Bulldogs all the way to the National Championship Game.
Eason never played another meaningful snap, and after the year, he made the tough decision to transfer.
Many speculated he’d head back to his home state of Washington, and it appears that’s exactly what he’ll do, as the Huskies announced on Tuesday that he was joining their program:

Eason got a raw deal at Georgia, but it was a decision coach Kirby Smart had to make as Fromm kept winning games.
No one in Athens should blame Eason for his decision, and now it’ll be interesting to see how he fares in the Pac-12 after sitting out the 2018 season.
The Huskies are getting a former elite prospect, as Eason was the No. 2 overall pro-style quarterback in the class of 2016, according to the 247Sports composite.
