The coaching turnover on Alabama’s staff just keeps happening.

This time, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar has officially been hired by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Thursday. That makes another on-field coach that Nick Saban will need to replace in a very short amount of time.

With National Signing Day officially in the books, coaching turnover is bound to continue around the country. Dunbar had coached at Alabama since May 2016, and he coached 10 years in the league before returning to college at Alabama under Saban.

With Dunbar leaving, Saban will have had to replace his OC, WRs coach, DC, DBs coach and DL coach all since winning the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Interestingly, while Saban is wanting to shakeup his coaching staff, Alabama’s recruiting class was knocked off the No. 1 spot for the first time in several years. No doubt coaching turnover had a major impact on that.
