Ohio State embarrasses itself, misspells elite prospect’s name during recruiting pitch

Urban Meyer is famously neurotic when it comes to details, but it appears that sentiment may not carry all the way down the chain of command. On Wednesday, four-star prospect Jacob Copeland received a letter in the mail from Ohio State.
But there was one problem.
Ohio state sent me some mail that say "Jason Copeland" ??♂️

Whoops! They mixed up his name.
The 6-foot-1, 188-pound Pensacola, Fla., prospect isn’t just any recruit, he’s rated as a top-25 player by 247Sports, and a top-10 receiver. Copeland currently has SEC offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
Though Ohio State is always in the running for prospects of that caliber, could this small error push Copeland further in the direction he was already heading?
Not necessarily. Remember when Michigan messed up with five-star Georgia DT Aubrey Solomon? The Wolverines certainly closed strong and eventually got Solomon to sign with the program.
Only time will tell with Copeland, but it certainly could be good news for one lucky SEC program.
