It started and ended with Ohio State for legendary Lee Corso. In his final episode of College GameDay, Corso picked the team that started it all in Ohio State.

Corso’s first headgear pick ever on College GameDay was the Ohio State Buckeyes, and it was his final pick as well. As Corso said himself on Gameday, Ohio State is his “first love,” and this gift cements them as one of his favorites.

As an act of respect, Ohio State gifted the legend a Brutus mascot head. Handed to him wrapped as a present, Brutus presented the mascot head to Corso on the sideline of the Texas versus Ohio State game.

It is not only a gift for picking Ohio State but also a congratulations on a legendary career for Corso.

In what will be one of the most hyped and anticipated matchups of the year, the Texas Longhorns travel to the Shoe to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The combination of the No. 1 versus No. 3 matchup, the final episode of College GameDay for Corso, and the opening weekend of college football cultivates a masterpiece for college football fans to enjoy.
