Ohio State’s social media team has college football fans scratching their heads a bit with a recent post about the Buckeyes’ bowl game.

Ryan Day’s squad set to face Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. The game is played in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The official X account of OSU football called the game a showdown in the desert, puzzling fans as the Dallas metro does not have any “desert” characteristics or features.

Fans and media members had some humorous replies to the Buckeyes’ post. Here’s a small sample of those replies:

The “showdown in the desert” is set for Friday at 8 p.m. ET. It will air on ESPN.
