Everett started the first 6 games of the season for App State at center. He totaled 478 offensive snaps, including 82 in the win over Texas A&M, and allowed just 1 sack in 262 pass-blocking snaps. The Athletic recognized Everett as a second-team Freshman All-American for the 2022 season.
Everett announced his entry into the transfer portal on April 15. OU won out over Mizzou, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Illinois, Colorado and others to land Everett’s commitment.
Everett has 3 seasons of remaining eligibility.
