Ivan Carreon, a 4-star wide receiver out of Odessa, Texas, has committed to Oklahoma.
Carreon committed to the Sooners as he has a reported 5 offers, including Purdue and Texas Tech. Carreon, who also plays basketball and track and field, is the 11th recruit in the Class of 2024 for Oklahoma. He’s the 3rd-highest-rated recruit in the class.
He announced on social media, and wrote, “Sooner Nation.. I’m All In!!!”
He is the No. 35 wide receiver in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 44 player in the state of Texas.
Carreon was committed to Texas Tech until Thursday. He visited Oklahoma about 2 weeks ago after he received the offer at the beginning of the month.
Oklahoma is ranked as the No. 32 overall class as Carreon is OU’s 4th wide receiver commitment, and joins a group that already features a 4-star and a pair of 3-star talents.
