Oklahoma had an up-and-down type of season this year, as the Sooners finished the regular season at 6-6. The Sooners pulled 1 of the biggest upsets late in the season at home against Alabama, but they also lost 5 games in SEC play by double-digits.

Despite that, the Sooners will be playing in a bowl game this bowl season, and they will be in action against Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 27. The game is at least close to home with a 12 pm ET kickoff from Fort Worth, Texas.

After a 3-0 start, the Sooners lost at home against Tennessee, 25-15. After bouncing back with a win against Auburn, the Sooners lost 3 straight games by at least 12 points. The first loss in that stretch was the Red River Rivalry to Texas, losing by a score of 34-3.

Oklahoma got to 5-4, but lost a wild game to Missouri that saw 28 points scored in the final 3:18 of the game. The Tigers scored 2 touchdowns in the final 1:03 to get the win.

Oklahoma entered the final 2 games needing to win 1, and that is when the Sooners had their best moment of the year. They upset Alabama 24-3 in a game that ultimately led to the Crimson Tide missing the College Football Playoff.

Navy got off to a 5-0 start but ran into a blistering Notre Dame team and lost that game, 51-10. The Midshipmen do have 1 game remaining in the regular season against Army in 1 of the biggest matchups in that rivalry in a long time.

These 2 teams have played only 1 time, and that was in 1965. The Midshipmen won that game 10-0.

Kickoff in the game will be at 12 p.m. ET, and the game will be at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Forth Worth on ESPN.
